An exceptional beer, Ryan O’Sullivan’s is very dark brown, nearly black, with a beige, frothy head. Its aroma is rich and heavy with bittersweet chocolate, coffee, and caramel. The first taste smoothes over the tongue with delectable, creamy caramel before the hearty coffee and chocolate flavors come on strong. The beer also has subtle plum notes and long-lasting molasses sweetness. As big as this beer is, it finishes clean and dry. |
