DRAFT REVIEW: Ten Fidy
RATING
90

An imperial stout housed in a can isn’t common, but Oskar Blues hopes to change that. Ten Fidy is ink-black, even around the edges, topped off with a big, dark brown head. Its chocolate and alcohol aromas are intense and highlighted by a slight citrus hop scent. The brew’s flavor features copious amounts of bittersweet chocolate, coffee beans, and caramel, and is incredibly sweet up front. A significant astringency punctuates the brew, heightened by the dry finish. This viscous, heavy beer has an obvious alcohol presence, dry finish,
and long-lasting coffee and chocolate flavors.
