DRAFT REVIEW: Pomme
RATING
83

Pomme fills the glass a brilliant, bright golden hue with an enduring, pure white head. Sweet, Jolly Rancher-esque green apple scents illuminate the earthy, tart aroma, saturating the nose with each sniff. This beer finds its place between apple pie and cider: Cinnamon mixes with tart green apple and a heavy dose of table sugar as it tumbles into the swallow. While sour lambic flavors cut through the sweetness on the tongue’s center, the sides are overrun by sugar-coated apple. A bolder lambic presence would help even out the near-cloyingness, but this still remains an engaging beer.
