DRAFT REVIEW: Easy Street Wheat Beer
RATING
85

This hazy orange brew emits a doughy, wheaty aroma with bright lemon singing in the background. On the front of the tongue, crisp wheat quickly shoots to the back of the tongue, carrying tart lemon esters along the way. Let this tightly constructed beer settle into the tongue to reveal its earthy hop background, evocative of dry grass, that emerges deep in the swallow. A dry finish with lingering grain flavors inspires another sip. Overall, Easy Street’s a palate-pleaser, but is a bit muted across the board; the beer’s allure lies in its simplicity.
