DRAFT REVIEW: Odell IPA
RATING
88

Odell Brewing is known for the smooth, easy-drinking aspect of its beer that results from choice ingredients. A lot of the brewery's beers are mild, laid-back styles that never push the envelope, but not its IPA, which grabs your senses and never lets go. The aroma starts with plenty of strong, citrusy American hops, leaving little room for the malt. This changes slightly in the flavor, however, with strong malt flavors of caramel and toffee, as well as toasted bread notes kicking in. These malts are the reason behind the 7% ABV, plus, they balance out the strong hops.
