DRAFT REVIEW: Stone IPA
RATING
96

If you ever go to a hop field in the Yakima or Willamette Valleys, take a moment and inhale deeply. Later, take a big whiff of Stone IPA... the similarity is pretty remarkable. The mouth of this beer starts with a lot of hops, and they don't disappear when the bitterness comes through. It has just enough malt to back up the hops and a good body to finish the brew nicely. The head is not the longest lasting one out there, but it is certainly adequate. With a flavor that lasts on the tongue, this tremendous IPA will not be forgotten any time soon.
