DRAFT REVIEW: Myrcenary
RATING
86

Mango and pineapple scents accented by fresh-cut grass notes seep from this beer’s foamy, white head. Rich toasted malt flavors reach across the tongue first and pick up sugary sweetness as the beer spreads out. Pungent, piney hops emerge on the tip of the tongue as leafy, grassy tastes swell in the back—a dynamic counter to the beer’s slightly sweet bed of malts. As the beer flows back, resinous hops coat the tongue, which mutes the bitterness and adds weight to the mouthfeel. Finishing sticky, Myrcenary trails off with dank pine notes and just a hint of grapefruit on the tongue.
