Pungent earthiness and fresh grass clippings battle for dominance before a splash of biting orange elbows into the fight; a thin rail of lightly toasted malts—a touch grainy—lends some support along the way. This is a solid IPA with lots to contemplate, but a streamlined hop identity and bolstered malt presence would bump it up to the next level.
