Follow this up with a deep caramelized barley aroma accented with mild citrus notes, and your mouth will water before the glass hits you lips. The doppelbock is spicy up front with a generous dose of caramel, molasses, brown sugar, and bread notes throughout. Finishing a bit sweet, lingering flavors of honey and brown sugar are understated, but pleasant, matching well with the moderate alcohol warming and full body. |
