Stone Collective Distortion IPA

Your Daily Pint for Sunday, June 29, 2014 is: STONE COLLECTIVE DISTORTION IPA

What it is: a tropical IPA brewed with coriander and elderberries in collaboration with musicians Kyle Hollingsworth and Keri Kelli.

What it tastes like: This extremely fruity IPA blends tropical hop notes with fruity elderberries and citrusy, herbal coriander for a profile that tastes like a fruit punch/IPA hybrid. Definitely a must-try for anyone who digs hops and tropical fruit.

Hollingsworth and craft beer: Hollingsworth, best known as the keyboardist for The String Cheese Incident, is making the rounds in craft beer. He played a Left Hand/Lagunitas concert during the Craft Brewers Conference earlier this year, brewed a collaboration pale ale with Boulder Beer Co., brewed a session IPA with Cigar City, and now has this special Stone release under his belt. What’s next? Don’t miss the annual KYLE’S Brew Fest, a charity beer festival and concert, when it returns to Boulder, Colo., on Aug. 9.

IPAs galore: Not only did Stone just release this beer, as well as its current Enjoy By IPA 7.4.14 (time’s running out!), but it also has a new collaboration IPA—Unapologetic IPA brewed with Heretic and Beachwood—out next week. Drink up!
