DRAFT REVIEW: Black & Blue
RATING
95

This red-tinted copper brew pours crystal clear with a playful, bubbly white head. A clean, bright blackberry-blueberry combo (backed by subtle doughy malts) fills the aroma and underscores the beer’s name. This interactive brew unfolds in orchestrated stages: As bready malts hit the tip of the tongue, tartness stimulates the sides while berry sweetness runs down the middle. Engaging the entire mouth, the brew wraps up with a dry finish courtesy of the 10% ABV hidden extremely well behind the flavors. A lingering tartness and glowing warmth in the chest enthuse another sip.
