DRAFT REVIEW: Double-Wide
RATING
91

With its cork-finished bottle, this beer has sleek shelf appeal. It pours deep orange with a slight haze and massive, sticky head. The aroma is full of grapefruit, caramel, and resinous fresh hop scents. Its flavor is equally rounded, beginning with deep caramelized malts, apricot, pine, and citrus fruits. Those tastes don’t dissipate, as the hop notes stick to the palate minutes after the swallow is finished. Double-Wide is full-bodied, with soft carbonation and a hefty alcohol presence.
