DRAFT REVIEW: Tower 10 IPA
RATING
89

Though it hails from the land of big IPAs, Tower 10 is an approachable rendition of the style. This very clear, amber brew wears a big, rocky white head that emits a piney and resinous hop aroma with just a simple malt thread twisting through the bouquet. On the tongue, the brew takes an unexpected turn, presenting less pine notes and more bright citrus and lemon peel flavors. Malt sweetness pops in just on the front of the swallow but fades quickly, and the finish is strongly bitter. There’s nothing overwhelming about this well-carbonated brew; it’s a restrained version that pleases the palate.
