DRAFT REVIEW: Zonker Stout
RATING
91

Zonker pours a brilliant clear mahogany color with a thin but persistent head. There is a delightful milk chocolate aroma with hints of molasses. These distinctive flavors carry all the way into the beer's mouth. Up in Wyoming, they must also like their beer filling, because this beer has a robust mouthfeel to go along with its malt profile. Coffee is minimal in both the flavor and aroma, but dried fruit flavors pick up the slack and prevent the brew from seeming too simple. Bitterness is at a perfect level for the style and makes this a highly drinkable beer. Foreign stouts can be tricky to make well, but this is a great example of the style and should keep plenty of people warm this winter.
