DRAFT REVIEW: Lion Stout
RATING
94

Lion Stout’s bold aroma greets the nose with a wealth of dark chocolate and molasses, while roasted malts and bread crust counter the sweet scents. A slight lactic twang runs down the sides of the tongue while smooth dark chocolate pours over a roasted malt base; a touch of bread crust deepens the malt
foundation. A sprinkling of brown sugar adds to this beer’s sweetness before bitter malts and warming alcohol lend the complex profile a refreshingly dry finish.
