DRAFT REVIEW: Chocolate Stout
RATING
89

Not a lot of towns in America can support five quality breweries, and that's especially true if that town has only 125,000 people living in it. Fort Collins Brewery has made it work and created some surprising brews along the way. Its Chocolate Stout starts off with intense cocoa aromas and even some notes of caramel. The mouthfeel is a bit sharp, but not offensive due to its dry finish. There are significant smoke flavors that are symbiotic with the sweet notes in the mouth of this beer; plus, the thick brown head lasts through the entire drink and helps it hold its aroma through the finish.
