DRAFT REVIEW: Hinterland Saison
RATING
83

A perfumey bouquet of lemon, clove and lavender smacks the nose; a similar potpourri of flavors rushes over the tongue. Clove and lavender blend with juicy lemon notes, overtaking the beer’s bready wheat base. A dry finish wraps up the swallow, but clove and lavender linger long after each sip. The menagerie of intense flavors is harmonious, but a more robust malt presence would help balance the swallow.
