DRAFT REVIEW: Saison Diego
RATING
93

A rich, moussy head emits a nuanced aroma of husky grains, dry hay and touches of white pepper and ginger. Although its ABV and IBU place this saison on the lighter side of the style, the beer’s full of flavor: Lemon and grainy malts splash down first, then blend with bready wheat and white pepper mid-sip; sharp ginger and orange rise in the back, giving the sip an edge. Active effervescence scrubs the tongue clean for a refreshing, spirited swallow.
