DRAFT REVIEW: Dad's Little Helper
RATING
90

This black IPA fills the nose with chocolate-covered orange scents: Bread, dark chocolate, roasted malts and orange swirl in the nose. Roasted malt flanks thin dark chocolate on the tongue, and presses against orange and piney hops in the middle. Hop oil coats the palate while bitterness fuses with the sharp dark malts and swiftly dries the tongue. Although this black IPA’s hop presence is lighter than others, its robust malts prove to be a fantastic introduction for drinkers who like things on the malty side.
