DRAFT REVIEW: Liberty Ale
RATING
89

While not as robust as an IPA, this bold pale ale still packs a hefty hop punch. A wonderful hop bouquet of grassy, minty scents blends with bread crust notes for a substantial aroma. Toasted bread spreads out on the tongue before sweet orange takes control. Deep bitterness works the tongue over, cutting through the malt and making room for more grassy hops to blossom in the back. Finishing clean with lingering bitterness, Liberty is a prime example of the West Coast’s hoppy signature.
