DRAFT REVIEW: Eisenbahn Pale Ale
RATING
84

Light all around, this Brazilian offering begins with a haylike nose and a sunny, pale-yellow color. Dusty, husky grain notes daintily touch the tongue first, followed by hops bearing a green, grassy flavor and assertive bitterness that seems out of place against the delicate tastes. The hops seem to gain traction as the beer finishes very dry, creating a more pronounced bitterness on the back of the tongue. With such subtle flavors, a light body, and prickly carbonation, this selection doesn’t offer much in the way of complexity; Eisenbahn’s role is strictly a very light example of the style.
