DRAFT REVIEW: East India Pale Ale
RATING
92

This clear, copper brew carries a bright, feathery white head and exhales a wealth of English hop aromas: earthy, grassy hops; floral, leathery accents; and a toasted bread scent. Toast and toffee span the tongue, supporting an earthy, spicy hop flavor as the brew washes back. Subtle fruity yeast esters brighten the mouth as hop bitterness emerges halfway down the tongue to clean house. Even-keeled and supportive, the beer’s flavors unite for an authentic yet homegrown example of an English IPA.
