DRAFT REVIEW: India Pale Ale
RATING
87

Pike’s English-style IPA exudes a simple, compact aroma of bready malts and complementary earthy and orange hop scents. Soft bready notes, slightly toasted on the edges, fan out over the tongue, while grassy hops express above. Toffee sweetness swerves through the bready base and mixes with a nutty tone mid-sip. A temperate wave of bitterness nicely checks the flavors and guides the swallow toward a dry finish.
