DRAFT REVIEW: Whale's Tale Pale Ale
RATING
93

Whale's Tale is a tribute from the brewers at Cisco to the whalers that once made Nantucket the whaling capital of the world. We are convinced that those hearty fisherman would have been proud of their namesake. A clean, robust malt aroma complemented by earthy hops, is nicely coupled with the slightly cloudy, deep gold color of the beer. Soft fruity esters and nutty malts balance the bitter finish wonderfully. Like all good English pale ales, the carbonation is low and the body is smooth; so smooth, in fact, we think it was the smoothest, most well-rounded beer we tasted all month.
