A very light head clings to the glass above Grizzly’s exceptionally clear body. The nose takes in wafts of biscuity malts, a touch of sulfur, and light pear scents alongside moderate, grassy hops balance the bouquet. A pleasant dose of grainy malt engages the front of the tongue first, followed by a light hop bitterness and sweet pear notes that pop up as the beer rolls back on the tongue. Biscuity malt swells in the back, obstructing the dry finish for which this style is known. |
