DRAFT REVIEW: Imperial Creme Brulee Stout
RATING
87

Just a few creamy bubbles pool together on top of this thick, ink-black brew. It might even go undetected as beer in your coffee cup: The aroma wafts smooth vanilla astride a roasted, coffee-scent base. This brew reaches the tongue incredibly sweet before an unmistakable creamy vanilla flavor fills the mouth, like a cup of joe loaded with cream. Roasted barley bitterness singes in the finish, leaving the tongue dry. Although it weighs in at 10% ABV, your tongue won’t readily detect alcohol; it’s a dangerously fun beer that can stand alone as a hearty dessert.
