DRAFT REVIEW: Downtown Brown
RATING
91

Downtown Brown pours a clear, copper color topped by a creamy, tan head. Its aroma is biscuity and slightly nutty, with little in the way of hops to interfere with the malt goodness. The taste starts with bold toffee sweetness and mild grain husk dryness backed by earthy hop tones. This full-bodied brew has a gentle alcohol warmth felt in the throat and chest. The finish is clean with a pleasant drawn-out graininess and gentle hop bitterness, making for a well-balanced conclusion to a wonderful brew.
