DRAFT REVIEW: Gold
RATING
84

This SoCal beer pours clean and light gold, with a creamy crown that doesn’t stay long before dissipating. Its aroma is minimalist, with toasted grains presenting more clearly than the crisp, peppery hops. The flavor is sweet throughout, complemented by fresh biscuit grains in the beginning and moving to a dull, citrusy hop ending. This is an overly thin beer, with average carbonation and very low alcohol. Finishing slightly dry, the hop flavors stick around with both peppery and bitter notes.
