Cream Ale
ABV: 4.5%
IBU: 13
RATING
90
This cream ale is light golden with a slight haze. Its tart aroma has a crisp, peppery hop note and overall is slightly grainy. Carlyle Cream’s flavor begins with a malt quality suggestive of just-baked rolls and farmstand corn, plus floral hops that provide a soft bite on the sides of the tongue and cheeks. There’s also a mild honey quality to the taste, most noticeable toward the back of the tongue. The brew’s body is medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation, making it wonderfully satisfying. Finally, the beer finishes dry with a pleasant and subdued dried-flower hop flavor that lasts well into the aftertaste.
