DRAFT REVIEW: Bigfoot Barleywine Style Ale
RATING
95

Bigfoot is a wonderful example of what a barleywine should taste like. It has a chewy mouthfeel that balances the earthy maltiness and citrusy hops on your palate. At first sip, it seems as though the malt will dictate the entire taste profile, but halfway through your swallow, you will notice the hops starting to take hold. Once the bold hops present themselves, they take over your entire mouth and linger long after you're through. Stronger alcohols stick around into the finish as well, touched with light resin notes. The aroma, though not as strong as the flavor, is rich and adds to the superb drinking experience.
