DRAFT REVIEW: Titan IPA
RATING
87

While we're often in the mood for beers that push the limits of one particular ingredient, we're always happy to see breweries committed to balanced ales and lagers. Great Divide has done just that: Its Titan IPA starts off balanced and never deviates from this path. The bouquet is reminiscent of pine needles and resin, but the malt still comes through. Titan is cloudy, but it doesn't taste off because of the yeast still present in the bottle. Rather, it has a pleasant, slightly sweet flavor with a strong alcohol kick. The hop flavor is good and the malt is moderate, yielding a composed, if not terribly exciting, brew.
