RATING
94
All of Left Hand's brews taste incredibly fresh, and Polestar is no slouch. This pilsner's malt aroma smells precisely like the fields of grain where the famous barley grows, and the soft hop essences are obviously derived from hops grown this season. Additionally, the radiantly clear gold coloring is impressive for the style, and the head is persistent. Polestar's hops come through stronger in the aroma than in the flavor, but they are still enjoyable in the beer's bitterness: The body is crisp yet easygoing, and the taste is refreshing.
