You will likely sample too many fine Belgian beers to make the return trip, so book a room at the adjoining bed and breakfast where the head brewer lives. If you're lucky, you can chat with him about this St. Bernardus tripel. It opens with a slight clove-like aroma and fruity esters. While the clean flavor doesn't have quite as many phenol (clove) notes as the nose, there is a bit of peppery spiciness to entice the palate.
