DRAFT REVIEW: Collaboration Not Litigation Ale
RATING
85

This complex brew sends off a delicate fig aroma laced with touches of smoke and cinnamon. Unlike the aroma, the flavor’s bold: Sweet caramel paves the way for a delicious contrast of peach, nectarine and caramel notes versus black pepper and clove. Eventually, warming alcohol takes hold, drying out the tongue before it settles into the chest with a comfortable glow. Although the brew would benefit from a stronger toasted malt backbone, its balance of fruit and spice is thoughtfully executed.
