DRAFT REVIEW: Amber Road
RATING
92

Baxter beers have been in high demand since the brewery opened in 2010; no surprise after sipping this beauty. Amber Road’s bouquet is effortless; toasted malts round out fresh, bready scents. An assortment of tightly knit malt flavors—caramel, toast and a hint of chocolate—land first and stand firm against the beer’s robust hop bitterness; juicy orange hops add a delicious citrus splash before the bitterness pushes forward for a clean, sessionable swallow.
