DRAFT REVIEW: Hop Bomber Pale Ale
RATING
83

Caramel scents imbue this beer’s bready aroma with sweetness while the faintest trace of citrus lingers in the background. On the tongue, the hop presence is equally absent as orange and earthy hops vie for attention, but ultimately, the bready base, smooth caramel and bold nuttiness stand firm. Bitterness makes the biggest impression in the end, when a drying wave topples the tongue, bringing a remarkably clean finish to a beer that began so malty-sweet.
