DRAFT REVIEW: Stateside Saison
RATING
88

Up from a thick, creamy head comes a compendium of classic saison scents: orange, flowers, spicy pepper, light bubblegum—they all fight for attention in a sweet bouquet. On the tongue, Stateside trades the Old World style’s overt spice for New World hop-forwardness: Fresh, grassy American and New Zealand hops along with spicy pepper hover above the sweet malts. Spritzy carbonation creates an ephemeral swallow that finishes dry with enduring spice notes.
