DRAFT REVIEW: Brewmaster's Signature Belgian-Style Dubbel
RATING
87

This cider-hued beer delicately balances sweet and spicy. In the nose, sugary raisins add dark sweetness to the toasted bread crust aroma while clove and light black pepper offer spicy accents. On the tongue, pear and raisin notes tumble over a toasted bread base before subtle pineapple peeks out in the middle. Black
pepper and clove offset the malt sweetness just as warming alcohol fuses the flavors together. A flash of banana appears just before a drying finish streaks the tongue.
