DRAFT REVIEW: Karma
RATING
85

Karma’s thin white head may be fleeting, but its aroma lasts: Plum and orange peel swirl with bubblegum scents, sweetening the beer’s soft bready aroma. As lightly toasted bread flavors spread out on the tongue, subtle and sweet apple and orange peel notes wind through the malt. Mid-sip, a touch of toffee emerges while earthy bitterness builds to foil the growing sweetness. Just before the finish, floral hop notes blossom, complementing the beer’s fruity flavors. Although Karma lacks the style’s spicy Belgian yeast character, overall, the profile’s refreshing and well-balanced.
