As if you needed another reason to drink beer in Brooklyn, new beer bar Tørst (Danish for “thirst”) has arrived, and with it, its creator/beer curator Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø, founder of Denmark’s Evil Twin Brewing and the borough’s newest resident. Poised to be the Toronado of its time, Tørst boasts a beer list packed with craft from all over the world, including gems from Cantillon and Mikkeller (helmed by Jeppe’s twin brother, Mikkel Jarnit-Bjergsø) brewed especially for the bar. Come summer, the pub will also host a 28-seat underground restaurant serving up Scandinavian-American small plates.
