DRAFT REVIEW: Chocolate Stout
RATING
89

With its ink-black body and bubbly tan head, it’s obvious Rogue’s Chocolate Stout’s quite robust, even from the glass. Gooey vanilla and milk chocolate scents that evoke fresh-baked brownies balloon scrumptiously in the nose. Rich chocolate spreads across the palate before a dash of roasted malts thins out the sweetness; dig deep into that rough bitterness that dominates the swallow, and you’ll catch faint plum. In the end, chocolate holds its ground for a pleasant cocoa finish.
