A fluffy white head sits atop this bright golden beer, while light grain scents brightened by tropical fruit and candied sugar fill the nose. Punchy lemon punctuates the beer’s start; in the background, soft malts spread across the tongue towing light clove and pepper spice. Sweet tropical fruits (think kiwi) poke the sides of the tongue in the middle of the swallow, as alcohol heat hits the throat. This beer could benefit from a drier finish, yet the lingering sweetness still inspires another sip. |
