DRAFT REVIEW: Red Brick Ale
RATING
87

Atlanta Brewing’s flagship brand since 1993, Red Brick Ale pours a light brown hue with a persistent, off-white head. Toasted malt aroma permeates the air, with subsequent caramel and faint chocolate scents that sweeten the pot. On the tongue, toasted, bready malts with thin caramel accents hit first, lightly coating the taste buds. While the smooth malt flavors are able to ride back without interruption, a surprising flash of hop bitterness bursts in the end, tempering the sweet buildup and cleaning the mouth with a lingering bitterness.
