DRAFT REVIEW: Oak Creek Amber Ale
RATING
90

This bright orange brew emits a compelling aroma: It’s like breathing in a brewery, a bouquet of raw grain, and whole hop flower scents. Biscuity grain sweetness emotes beautifully on the tongue, while the hops simply adorn the swallow, contributing peppery spice on the sides of the mouth and mild bitterness in the finish. Because of its exceptionally raw quality, this brew tastes incredibly fresh; it’s smooth and finishes dry, with only smudges of malted barley sweetness playing into the aftertaste.
