This clear, reddish brown brew wears a frothy cream head that sticks to the glass and unleashes a full aroma. Sweet malt and vanilla blossom in the nose. The flavor, however, is much lighter, with very smooth caramel malt on the front and hop bitterness that zips in, pontificates, and balances the sweet malt. The cohesive swallow is very approachable: The mouthfeel’s thin, and the caramel sings from front to finish.
