This Hawaii-brewed, yellow-gold beer brings some aloha spirit to both the nose and the tongue with the addition of passion fruit. The nose swims with passion fruit’s bright, citrusy notes, underscored by a gentle, wheaty base. The tongue begins rich and bready, while fruity notes add splashes of color through the swallow. Hop flavors are fairly quiet in Wailua, adding only a touch of pepper and little bite. Wailua has a light body and very little alcohol, making the mouthfeel and the flavors incredibly thirst-quenching.
