DRAFT REVIEW: DreamWeaver Wheat Ale
RATING
88

DreamWeaver pours yellow-gold with a glowing haziness and thick, white crown. Lemon and spicy notes race to the nose, while restrained cloves play quietly in the bouquet’s background. Flavors start sweet and doughy before a robust yeast quality brings ripe bananas and spicy cloves to the tongue. The second mouthful confirms a hop presence that is more bitter than anticipated, but contributes little hop flavor to the swallow. While solid, DreamWeaver’s flavors don’t have a lot of flash.
