DRAFT REVIEW: Red Nectar
RATING
93

Red Nectar’s sensuous aroma races out of the bottle as soon as it’s uncapped, quickly finding sanctuary in the nostrils and throat. The creamy caramel, floral hops, and a soft apricot bouquet is as lovely as the deep copper liquid. In the swallow, caramel malts eagerly greet the tongue, towing just a hint of tobacco, fruity touches, and mildly bitter hop notes. With a medium body, low alcohol presence and dry finish, the beer doesn’t sink into the palate, but that doesn’t detract from the brew’s complexity and balance.
