Becks pours an iced tea color with a creamy head that never dissipates but does slowly lose some of its body. This smooth head adds considerably to the soft mouthfeel, but it's the aroma that's attention-grabbing. Sweeter mocha tones lead the way, but there were relatively few notes of the rich toasted grains that make this style famous. Nothing changes in the flavor, as again, there aren't enough high malt characteristics or clean hop traits. By the end of your drink, you will notice some sweeter caramel and a light roasted flavor, but these are not strong enough for the entire swallow, and don't stand up to the weak body. As this beer gets warmer, you will notice some darker fruit flavors coming out, which help along with taste and mouthfeel.
