DRAFT REVIEW: Blackfriar Scottish Ale
RATING
85

The Blackfriar Scottish Ale marches to its own beat (or bagpipes) with unlikely earthy flavors, hints of sourness, and a cloudy appearance. Although this ale has a mild aroma, its fruity esters come out nicely in the flavor. When it comes to strong flavors, this scotch ale doesn't particularly stand out, but it's still a sound brew. If it had a bit more body and malt complexity, it would definitely catch a higher score.
